Life on a Shipwreck

While shipwrecks in the Lake Superior lack the diversity and quantities of marine life that thrive on ocean shipwrecks, they do support an ecosystem that is often overlooked by many divers.  For an enjoyable change of pace, next time you dive a shipwreck see how many different types of marine life you can observe.  Look closely, however since many of the critters you will observe are much smaller and less obvious than what you see in the ocean.
